Ministries
Are you interested in becoming Catholic?
Do you want or need to receive one or all of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist?
Do you simply want to learn more about the Church or have questions?
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) may be for you. RCIA is a process during which people learn and talk about the basics of the Catholic faith and Church teaching. We have a full RCIA program for students and members of the Princeton University community. Our meetings are open to anyone who has questions about the Catholic faith. All are welcome.
WHAT IS IT FOR?
- To help non-Catholics learn more about Catholicism
- For those non-Catholics who feel called, an opportunity to receive all three of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation
- To provide Catholics with a way of exploring their faith while preparing for First Communion or Confirmation
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- We meet once a week to discuss different topics of the Faith.
- No commitment is required to participate in the discussions.
- Over the course of the school year we provide opportunities for both group and private discussions about faith, doubts, and the decision to convert.
Generally, preparation for the sacraments starts in the fall semester, but please contact us at any time of the year. We have the flexibility to start preparation at different times.
